Residents living in a small village say they were kept up for hours due to an illegal "hardcore techno rave" being held at a nearby mountain.

Police were called to what has been described as "an unlicensed music event" that took place on Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday morning (October 19).

It is believed that the rave was held on a mountainside near the small village of Croeserw in Neath Port Talbot. Locals say that attendees who had travelled from as far as Bristol were spotted at the local train station.

The nearby communities have described being kept awake until the early hours of the morning, reports Wales Online .
