WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Watertown Police arrested a juvenile at around 11 a.m. Sunday for threats to “shoot up” Case Junior High School.
The arrest stems from a threatening message sent by the juvenile to Watertown High School staff. Watertown Police say they’ve determined the message was sent to “play a joke on their friend.”
The juvenile was charged with Falsely Reporting an Emergency in the Third Degree and Making a Threat of Mass Harm, both misdemeanors. They were issued an appearance to report to the Jefferson County Probation Department.
