Mrs. Josephine White Buchanan, 83, of Newnan, Ga, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on October 1, 1942, in Newnan, GA, to the late Ralph and Josie White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Owens, Frances Brittain, William White, Dan White, and David White. Josephine grew up in East Newnan and was a 1960 graduate of Newnan High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Dudley, in April 1961. She worked for American Can Company/James River for 32 years until retiring in 1998. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother/great-grandmother to her family, and a beloved friend to neighbors, co-workers, and everyone who knew her.
