PORTLAND, Ore. — Toumani Camara has agreed to a four-year, $82 million contract extension with the Portland Trail Blazers, ESPN's Shams Charania reported Sunday.
The extension extends Camara's contract with the Blazers through the 2029-30 season. According to Bobby Marks of ESPN , Camara's $2.4 million team option in 2026-27 will be replaced with the first year of the new extension. He was eligible for a contract extension of up to four years and as much as $87 million, Marks said.
Camara, 25, was named to the NBA All-Defense second team last season, his second with the Blazers since he came to Portland in the three-way trade that sent Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks.
