DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver weather forecast turns dry and windy behind another cold front on Monday, with a Red Flag Warning in place for the Denver metro and most of the plains from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This means that outdoor burning is highly discouraged during this time since gusty winds and very low relative humidity could make for chaotic fire behavior.
Meanwhile, a High Wind Warning is in effect for portions of the southern Front Range on Monday morning from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Westerly winds from 30-40 mph may gust up to 75 mph at times along and just east of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
Weather tonight: Warmer and becoming breezy
Temperatures will not be nearly as cool compared to Sunday morning, with lows only falling to the middle 40s thanks to breezy southwesterly winds develop
