Mainly sunny skies are in Denver to start the week, but highs are noticeably cooler in the lower 60s as winds are brisk and breezy.

Red flag warnings are in effect for the metro area from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. as winds can reach 25-35 mph and gusts up to 55 mph.

Skies stay clear Monday night as the wind slows quickly after sunset. Overnight lows will dip into the lower 30s, and freeze warning is in effect from midnight until 8 a.m. Tuesday.
