JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A shooting in the Palmerdale area of Jefferson County Sunday morning has left multiple people injured.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies from their office responded to reports of multiple people shot in the 7900 block of Highway 75 North in Pinson at 12:24 Sunday morning.

When deputies arrived, they found an 18-year-old woman, 18-year-old man, and a 21-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Palmerdale Fire and Rescue, Center Point Fire and Rescue, and Trussville Fire and Rescue responded and took the victims to local hospitals. Officials later learned that a fourth person who had been shot, a 20-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital by a personal vehicle.
