PHOENIX — A bicyclist is dead after a crash in central Phoenix, the city's police department said.
Phoenix police officers responded to the area of 18th Street and Osborn Road on Sunday afternoon for a crash with injuries. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been riding his bike with life-threatening injuries.
The Phoenix Fire Department took the man to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police said the other vehicle involved in the crash is believed to be a white car and left the scene before officers got to the area.
Impairment and speed are not known factors in the crash at this time, police said.
