A total of eight teams are taking part in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, the matches of which are being played across four venues in India and one in Sri Lanka. Three teams – Australia, South Africa and England – have booked their place in the semifinals, but the remaining five teams – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and New Zealand – are still alive in the race to take the remaining fourth spot. But on Monday (October 21), when Sri Lanka will take on Bangladesh in the 21st league match of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, one team’s campaign will definitely come to an end (if rain doesn’t play spoilsport).

The race is heating up, and all five teams, who are in contention, would like to give their all and make it to the semis.
