Voters across Alberta go to the polls Monday in municipal election, selecting mayors, councillors and school board trustees.

In Edmonton, voters are faced with an open mayoral contest, after Amarjeet Sohi opted not to run for relection.

Councillors Andrew Knack and Tim Cartmell are among a crowded field of 13, which includes former councillors Tony Caterina and Michael Walters, and ex-MP Rahim Jaffer. You can find all the candidates at the link below.

Elections officials are anticipating a long night, as the city is moving to hand-counting ballots, after provincial legislation banned the use of electronic tabulators.
