BOSTON — While the Knicks eliminated the Celtics in last year’s playoffs, despite their best season in a quarter-century, New York still fired coach Tom Thibodeau . So instead of readying a team for the regular season, Thibodeau has been free to tour different NBA facilities across the country.

The Auerbach Center was Thibodeau’s latest visit as he was at Celtics practice Monday . Other than getting to watch the C’s behind the scenes, Jaylen Brown revealed that Thibodeau also gave them a unique advantage fresh off a playoff battle.
