SHREWSBURY, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - A week after an attempted burglary was reported at Carrara's Gun Shop in Shrewsbury, Vermont State Police say one man is in custody.
According to Vermont State Police, they found boot prints and over $500 in damage done to the exterior of the store when they arrived on the morning of Sunday, October 12. They said that a man had attempted to break in using a crowbar.
Store owner Russell Carara shared security footage of a suspect on social media that day, and police say that they were able to identify the man as Ean Bruno, 27, of West Rutland.
According to authorities, Bruno is now being held at Marble Valley Correctional Facility for violations of his probation. He has been cited and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
