MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - Mayor Steven Reed and Police Chief Jim Graboys held a news conference Monday afternoon to discuss the ongoing investigation into the deadly Oct. 4 mass shooting in downtown Montgomery.
The mayor and police chief didn’t shed much new light on what is publicly available regarding the four arrests, but Reed cautioned the investigation “is not over by a longshot,” and said “we will continue to pursue every individual involved, whether they pulled the trigger, helped conceal evidence, or tried to obstruct justice.”
The chief said investigators are going over evidence “with a fine-toothed comb” and noted that there were more than 150 cameras in the downtown area they are still reviewing.
