DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver weather forecast turns colder tonight with lows now expected to fall to near or just below freezing across the metro.

The area's gusty winds will relax significantly this evening and overnight to less than 10 mph heading into Tuesday.

Expect much warmer conditions tomorrow with highs reaching the upper 60s Tuesday afternoon thanks to the return of southerly winds and ample sunshine up and down the Front Range.

Weather tonight: Freeze Likely

As skies remain clear and winds begin to subside, temperatures will respond by dropping into the lower 30s and perhaps some spots across the metro dipping into the upper 20s.
