EL DORADO, Kan. (KWCH) - The El Dorado High School booster club said its former treasurer stole most of the club’s money intended to support sports and activities for students.
“If all the money is gone, that means all the kids get to miss out for the rest of the year,” said El Dorado community member Jessica Shover.
12 News reached out to El Dorado Public Schools Superintendent Jennifer Davis who said the El Dorado Police Department is investigating the alleged theft. Meanwhile the district is allocating some emergency funds to help the booster club to support students.
