ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - We are dry and sunny now, but scattered rain showers approach from the west. It's along a quick-moving boundary that will bring rain briefly this afternoon. Expect temperatures to climb quickly into the lower 60s before slowly falling back into the 40s overnight.

We get another wave of colder air Wednesday behind a weak front that will open the doors for some lake effect rain. Expect showers east of Lake Erie beginning mid-day Wednesday and last into both Thursday and Friday. Expect the last three days of the work week to be cold with lows in the low 40s and highs barely getting into the lower 50s. There will be some partial sunshine in between these lake bands. Many will not see any rain.
