A male teenager has been taken to hospital after being struck by a bus which was being driven near a school in the west side of Edinburgh.
The incident took place on South Gyle Access near Forrester High School around 2.50pm this afternoon, Tuesday 21 October 2025.
Emergency services including several police cars and ambulances attended and the scene was cordoned off to facilitate the investigation. The road was also closed.
The teenager was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment. His condition has not been released at this time.
The road has since re-opened and officers said that their enquiries are ongoing.
