The search for a man wanted for several out-of-state felony charges prompted two separate shelter-in-place orders in Carroll Township Monday evening.
Christopher Emil Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 27, of Dillsburg, is wanted on charges of grand theft amounting to more than $750,000 out of Polk County, Florida. He also has felony warrants out of Northampton County, Virginia, for hit-and-run, fleeing and eluding and related misdemeanor charges.
Around 5:30 p.m. Monday, the Northampton County, Virginia, sheriff’s office told the Carroll Township Police Department they believed Rodriguez-Gonzalez was staying in a home in the 500 block of Chestnut Grove Road, Dillsburg. A shelter-in-place was broadcast at that time for that area.
