Spider-Man: Brand New Day is looking to be a stacked movie , with almost as many heroes in it as an Avengers film. Okay, maybe not Avengers, but we’re approaching Fantastic Four levels with this one. We’ve got Mark Ruffalo returning as Bruce Banner/the Hulk, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/the Punisher, and Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink in a mystery role, which many fans believe is another superhero. However, it seems the one Marvel hero everyone was hoping would return actually won’t — Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Here’s what he had to say to the Phase Hero podcast, via Deadline :
