An Edinburgh social club has announced its permanent closure as they shared a heartfelt message with their customers.

Craigmillar Hearts previously closed in August and ever since, management have been attempting to find a new manager to take over the running of the club.

However, in an emotional message shared online, the team announced nobody has taken on the opportunity and they have been forced to permanently close the club.

Thanking their customers over the years, the owners said they had "happy times" while running the club.

They added: "Since the club closed in August the management have worked to try and recruit a new manager to take over the running of the club.
