VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Fire damaged a storage unit on North Great Neck Road in Virginia Beach on Tuesday evening.

The fire was reported at 6:13 p.m. at Potter Self Storage in the 1300 block of North Great Neck Road, according to a Virginia Beach Fire Department spokesperson. Smoke was seen coming from multiple storage units when crews arrived at 6:18 p.m.

The fire was marked under control at 6:31 and out at 6:48. There were no injuries to firefighters, civilians or pets.

The origin and cause are currently under investigation.
