LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A man attempting to cross a road was struck by a vehicle and hospitalized on Tuesday, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
It happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Nellis Boulevard near Desert Inn Road.
Police told 8 News Now the man was attempting to cross the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck.
The driver remained at the scene following the crash. The pedestrian was then taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
Nellis Boulevard is closed in both directions between Desert Inn Road and Mount Rushmore Parkway.
