Cooler weather , earlier sunrises and later sunsets are the signs of Thanksgiving approaching in the Chicago area, which falls on Thursday, Nov. 27 for 2025.
But what exactly will temperatures look like around that time?
"It can go either way," NBC 5 Meteorologist Alicia Roman said. "We've had weeks in November where we still had some 70s, so we'll have to see."
A newly released report from the Old Farmers Almanac showed that temperatures in the Midwest for Thanksgiving week look to be on the "mild" side with warmer temperatures for the Western part of the state, and flurries possible in the upper Midwest.
