NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTHN) -- A woman suffered minor injuries when a vehicle struck a utility pole in a rollover crash in North Haven, fire officials said.
The crash happened around 9:19 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 1700 Hartford Turnpike. Fire officials at the scene said the car was on its side with the woman suspended by her seatbelt, trapped.
According to fire officials, the utility pole was broken in half, and the car was holding it up, which created an electrical hazard for the occupant and responders.
The woman was removed from the vehicle for medical care and taken to an area hospital for evaluation, fire officials said.
