BEREA, Ohio – A Berea man, 68, was arrested Oct. 19 after he harassed workers inside Walgreens, 6 East Bagley Road.

Police received a call from Walgreens at about 10:45 a.m. saying that the man was experiencing a seizure in the store.

When police arrived, the man was conscious, breathing and alert. They learned that he had signed himself out of Aristocrat Berea Healthcare & Rehabilitation earlier that day.

Paramedics who responded to the scene knew the man and knew that he didn’t have a history of seizures. Nevertheless, he was taken to Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights.

Walgreens workers told police the man had taken and consumed an iced tea from the store’s refrigerated section but didn’t pay for the drink. They chose not to pursue charges.
