MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- As the University of Memphis celebrates its Homecoming Week, they're also thinking about giving back to support students in need.
For the first time, the university is brining its annual giving celebration to Homecoming Weekend.
Giving Days kicks off Friday and goes for 48 hours. University leaders hope to reach 500 donors to help students in need.
They've already raised more than $6,000.
This year, they're spotlighting their Student Emergency Fund, the Tiger Pantry, and Memphis Fund.
