Alaska Airlines issued a nationwide ground stop Thursday evening, reportedly due to a technology outage.
The airline says flights across the country were temporarily halted, though the exact cause of the outage is not yet clear.
This marks the second ground stop for Alaska Airlines in just a few months. Back in July, flights were paused for nearly three hours following a separate technology issue.
Airline officials are working to restore normal operations and have advised passengers to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport.
