Saanich Police says two arrests have been made following a grocery store parking lot incident that required “a heightened degree of caution” on Thursday evening.
At 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, Saanich Police say officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle parked in the 200-block of Gorge Road West.
Witnesses told CHEK News that police were seen with weapons drawn in the parking lot of the Fairway Market Gorge Plaza as a woman stepped out of the driver’s side of a U-Haul truck, keeping her hands raised in the air.
Saanich Police told CHEK News that patrol officers located the vehicle occupied by two people.
