WASHINGTON — Singer Nelly Furtado announced she would be stepping away from performing for a while.
The "Promiscuous" singer penned a letter to her fans on Instagram Friday, celebrating the 25th anniversary of her first album "Woah, Nelly!." She accompanied the message with a throwback photo of herself from 25 years ago and a video of her waving to her fans from the stage at a show in Berlin.
"I have decided to step away from performance for the foreseeable future and pursue some other creative and personal endeavours that I feel would better suit this next phase of my life," Furtado said in her caption.
