CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were in east Charlotte investigating a death reported near a busy road.

Officers were called out around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, to Central Avenue near Eastcrest Drive.

Homicide detectives were investigating a death, officers said. No other details were released.
