CLEVELAND, Ohio - An illegal street racing incident in Cleveland led to a serious crash that hospitalized two men and damaged 10 vehicles early Saturday morning, according to WKYC, a news parter of cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer.
Cleveland police responded to the scene near East 93rd Street and Crane Avenue around midnight, where investigators determined that one of two racing vehicles swerved to avoid another car, lost control, and struck a parked vehicle, according to WKYC . The collision created a chain reaction that damaged other parked cars.
The 20-year-old driver who lost control and his 24-year-old passenger both suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized, WKYC said. Police arrested the driver, who remains hospitalized, on multiple charges including aggravated vehicular
