LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Police are looking for a suspect after they say a pedestrian in a wheelchair was killed in a hit-and-run in Okolona early Sunday.

Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the area of Preston Highway and Industrial Boulevard around 12:15 a.m. about an injury accident.

Police said a pedestrian in a wheelchair had been hit by a vehicle and died at the scene.

They have not released any other information about the victim.

According to police, the occupant(s) inside the vehicle got out and left the vehicle at the scene.
