A Kingston man was killed Saturday night in a vehicle-pedestrian collision near Elgin, provincial police reported.
Officers with the Leeds County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded shortly after 9 p.m. to reports that a pedestrian was struck by a southbound sport utility vehicle.

The pedestrian, a 43-year-old man from Kingston, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said Sunday. The SUV driver was not injured.
