PRIEST RIVER, Idaho — A woman died Saturday night after being struck by a freight train near Priest River, according to Idaho State Police.

The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. at the Parr Road crossing near Hidden Lane in Bonner County, ISP reported. The northbound freight train struck the adult woman at the crossing.

Idaho State Police are investigating the incident.

The woman's identity has not been confirmed or released by authorities.
