PRIEST RIVER, Idaho — A woman was struck and killed by a train Saturday night, according to the Idaho State Police (ISP).

ISP says the incident happened at approximately 9:03 p.m. at the Parr Road crossing near Hidden Lane in Bonner County.

Police say the woman was hit by the train as it was going northbound. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

ISP says all traffic on the line was paused for four hours.

The identity of the woman is still under investigation and will be released at a later date.
