TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Happy Tail's Animal Rescue held their first ever fall festival.
The event had a raffle, many fall-related games, vendors, and more. People could also dress up their pet for the pet costume contest or children could pick a stuffed animal to adopt.
There were vendors will baked goods, custom collars, and fresh food. At the end of the event, people could participate in a truck or treat.
All donations from the event go towards the rescue. Organizers said they hope to continue this event for years to come.
"Hoping that we can you know, have one every year. We want to give back to the community as much as they've given back to us," said Hannah Ketner, Marketing and Event Coordinator at Happy Tails Animal Rescue.
