Authorities are searching for two suspects who fatally shot a man on Sunday morning in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Vancouver, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives responded to reports of gunshots at approximately 7:49 a.m. and found a man with a gunshot wound in the front seat of a vehicle. The man died at the scene of his injuries.

According to witnesses, two men wearing masks moved between the victim’s vehicle and a Lexus sedan after the shots were fired. The suspects then fled in the Lexus, heading south on Interstate 5 into Portland, the sheriff’s office said.
