BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Birmingham Police say the 2025 Magic City Classic was a success after no major incidents happened over the weekend.
Fans from both Alabama A&M and Alabama State flocked to the Magic City for the 84th edition of the classic.
“I have been coming to Magic City Classic since I was 14 years old,” one fan said.
“Rooting for Bulldogs and we also have some Alabama State. Our house divided, but it’s okay!,” said another fan.
Event organizers expected more than 120,000 people to be in the Birmingham area for Classic Weekend for one of the biggest football games of the year.
Magic City Classic Executive Director Perrin King said that central Alabama could see an economic impact of $25 million over the week.
