The Stray Cats canceled the first show of their fall tour after lead singer and guitarist Brian Setzer said he was dealing with an illness.

The first show was supposed to be Saturday in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. The band announced the cancellation on social media and said ticket refunds are available.

“I’m heartbroken to share, due to serious illness, I am unable to perform and very regrettably have to cancel tonight’s show at Soaring Eagle in Mt. Pleasant,” Setzer writes in the post. “I know this affects so many people and I am devastated to have to deliver this news.
