SRINAGAR : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said that the prospect of Jammu Kashmir regaining statehood appears to be diminishing as time passes. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp
Speaking to reporters, Abdullah stated that he had been hopeful about the restoration of statehood from the very beginning. “However, with the continued delay, those hopes are fading with each passing day,” he said.
The Chief Minister also responded to a recent statement by Member of Parliament Mian Altaf, saying he had spoken to him over the phone. “He is like a fatherly figure to me. He has said nothing wrong and advised me just as my father would,” Abdullah said.
