New Delhi: On Saturday, October 25, Mohammad Yunus, head of Bangladesh’s interim government, gifted a controversial book to Pakistani General Sahir Shamshad Mirza. The map printed on the cover of this book, titled “Art of Triumph,” shows India’s northeastern states as part of Bangladesh. The Indian Foreign Ministry has not yet issued an official response.
Shamshad Mirza is the second most powerful officer in the Pakistani Army after Asif Munir. It is believed that Mirza will succeed Munir as Pakistan’s Army Chief.
