NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police have charged a suspect in a fatal stabbing that occurred at a home in the 400 block of East Brambleton Avenue early Monday.
The emergency call came in around 7:55 a.m. Monday. Police say they arrived on scene and found Shakira S. Clark, 23, of Norfolk, suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives have charged Keandre Debrough, 25, with second-degree murder and burglary in connection with the stabbing. He also has other outstanding charges.
Officials are urging anyone with information about the stabbing or Debrough’s whereabouts to contact Norfolk police at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
