DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies stopped a man for erratic driving on NC Highway 801 South on Sunday and discovered cocaine, a concealed handgun, and his 4-year-old son in the vehicle, according to the Davie County Sheriff's Office.
Francisco Caputothen, 40, of Cool Springs Road, was pulled over around 1:30 p.m. after his SUV slowed to 25 mph in a 45 mph zone and briefly left the roadway. Deputies said they stopped Cooleemee for the unusual driving and traffic violations.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies found a concealed handgun in the center console.
