DOBSON, N.C. — A Surry County man is facing multiple drug charges after deputies seized what investigators described as a “large quantity” of fentanyl during a search at a home in Dobson, according to the Surry County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant on Oct. 14 at 653 Jenkinstown Road as part of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs in the county.
During the search, investigators said they found fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and various pills suspected of containing controlled substances.
Authorities arrested Douglas Jerome Kyle, 44, at the scene. He was charged with:
Two counts of Level 3 trafficking in fentanyl
One count of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or delive
