Srinagar, Oct 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday informed the Legislative Assembly that adequate measures are in place to ensure uninterrupted water supply in Jammu West, even during natural calamities or war-like situations.

Responding to a question raised by Arvind Gupta, the Government said that the Jal Shakti Department has created a dependable system of borewells and tubewells to meet local water demands. A dedicated fleet of departmental water tankers is also available to supplement supply in case of emergencies, with additional vehicles ready for deployment whenever required.
