(NewsNation) — Sean “Diddy” Combs is expected to be released from a New York federal prison for prostitution-related convictions in May 2028, online records from the Bureau of Prisons show.

The music producer was sentenced to four years and two months on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act. He was acquitted of larger racketeering and sex trafficking charges.

In the absence of any changing circumstances, Combs is slated to walk free on May 8, 2028, records show. However, that date isn't fixed and could change depending on what happens during his incarceration.

Diddy has been in federal custody since his arrest in September 2024.
