COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSAV) — South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster announced that he will hold a press conference Tuesday to announce that the Central Carolina Community Foundation has activated the One SC Fund.

The activation is in response to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's announcement that federal funding for SNAP benefits will be halted on Nov. 1.

The program will allow for a giving campaign dedicated to providing assistance to regional food banks and local feeding partners across the state.

McMaster will speak to the media at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
