MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Law enforcement officers arrested a man wanted for killing a woman in Cordova over the weekend.
Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, in a partnership with the Memphis Police Department multi-agency gang unit, arrested 33-year-old Marcus Dotson on Monday morning.
Dotson is accused of killing 32-year-old Yesica Juarez at a home in Cordova.
Juarez was found dead inside a home on Manslick Road in Cordova on Sunday morning. She had been shot.
Deputies say Dotson killed her in a domestic-related incident.
He is charged with first-degree murder, using a weapon in the commission of a felony and possessing a weapon as a convicted felon.
