CLARKSDALE, Miss. (WMC) - Clarksdale police have arrested a man in connection to a homicide that occurred in mid-September.

On September 13, police responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of DeSoto Avenue around 2 a.m. where officers found 29-year-old Alan Coleman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced deceased.

On October 6, investigators were able to obtain a warrant for the murder of Coleman against 23-year-old Gene Dabbs Jr.

Dabbs was arrested and charged with murder on October 27.
