Motorists heading over the Queensferry Crossing were warned of huge delays after a collision .

The incident was first reported at around 5.40pm, with the northbound lane restricted on the M90 . Delays of up to 76 minutes were reported by Traffic Scotland.

The condition of those involved is not currently known. A traffic camera image shows emergency service vehicles on the bridge, with multiple vehicles appearing to be involved in the collision.

At around 5.40pm on Monday, October 27, Traffic Scotland said: "NEW 17:40 M90 Queensferry Crossing.

"The M90 is currently restricted on the Queensferry Crossing northbound due to a road traffic collision. Lane 2 is blocked.

"Delays approx. 14 minutes currently, which will continue to be monitored."
